This week we worked on Tiger Achievement 1D: Make a scrapbook in our den meeting. They turned out awesome!!! We began the meeting with Elective 47: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and discussed the differences in reusing something and recycling something, and then the boys listed several items that could be recycled. I had the boys bring in a cereal box to the meeting this week, we opened them, cut off the flaps, turned them inside out, punched holes in them, added construction paper inside and then decorated them and TA DA!!! Scrapbooks!
This was a fun, messy, exciting, enjoyable activity! And they learned something! Thank you parents for bringing in the boxes, punching holes, and cleaning up the mess 13 boys on a mission made last night!
If you were unable to make last nights meeting, you can do this activity at home with your boys. You can use cereal boxes or they can make a scrapbook with folders, etc. Have fun on this project!
